About me...
I am thirty years old, live in combats and black tees, eat too much chocolate and have a tendency to shoot from the hip. I have two wonderful, amazing, shockingly perfect children, Vix (15) and Bear (11).
I have a degree in planetary sciences (which yeah was a lot of good in the real world) and a 'real' full time job (darn it) working for local government as a Policy and Research Development Officer. My hobbies include babminton, kickboxing (black belt first dan), abstract painting (acrylics and oils), astronomy (a thin excuse to UFO hunt) adventure sports (flying, caving and abseiling) and reading (constantly, continually, obsessively).
How would I describe myself? I think the best way would be to match me to a song - the one that matches best at the moment is Avril Lavigne's 'Anything but ordinary' (click below to listen) - because I would rather be anything than ordinary! Life is for living and ordinary just doesn't cut it.
I do not own the copyight for this song, no copyright infringement intended.
